Electricity North West
More than 1,200 properties in Carlisle were been hit by a power cut.
Electricity North West say that a problem in the CA2 postcode affected 1,227 properties.
Engineers are en route to fix the issue and the company has apologised.
The fault was reported about 12pm.
Work by ENW has reduced the problem to 164 properties as of 1pm.
