Katie Maxwell, 16, from Wigton, had been reported missing
A 16-year-old girl missing from Wigton since Thursday has been found.
Cumbria Police issued a public appeal for sightings after growing concerned for the welfare of Katie Ann Maxwell.
She had last been seen on Thursday at about 11.45am in Highmoor Park, in the town.
Officers have now confirmed she has been found safe and well.
They thanked everyone who shared the appeal.
