Emergency services called to crash in west Cumbria
Police are currently at the scene of a crash on a main west Cumbrian road.
Officers were called to the scene, close to the Pelican filling station off the A595 in Whitehaven, at around 5.15pm.
Motorists travelling on the stretch of road are currently experiencing delays as a result.
A spokesman for Cumbria police said that officers are currently at the scene and that no further details about the incident are known at this stage.
