A driver had a lucky escape after his car overturned on an icy road and he got out unhurt.
Police were called out to the scene of the one-car crash last night at about 7.15pm.
It happened on the A689 at Hallbankgate, east of Brampton.
Officers say a Vauxhall Astra he was driving skidded on ice and overturned.
The driver was a 37-year-old man from Brampton and was uninjured.
Police are dealing with an incident on the A689 at Hallbankgate (east of Brampton). Officers at scene are stating this road is icy. Road is not closed but drivers asked to exercise caution.
