Dog thieves strike in Cumbria
An investigation is underway after a dog was stolen from his kennel.
Thieves struck in Whitehaven, taking the pet from Moresby Park overnight on Saturday.
The black and white Staffordshire bull terrier, called Rex, was stolen from his kennel after crooks forced their way into the garden.
Rex is four-years-old and micro-chipped, say police.
Officers are appealing for information on 101.
