The demolition of an iconic former hotel is almost complete.
More walls from the Skinburness Hotel, near Silloth, have now fallen with the demolition team behind the project, DP Contractors, saying the final bricks could be knocked down tomorrow.
The building, which is more than 130 years old, is unrecognisable from the top venue it once was.
It had fallen into a serious state of disrepair and last month the Northumberland-based firm moved in to start demolition.
Helping to complete the project was Michael Cox, from Shine Roofing in Workington.
"We have been taking the old slates off the roof, they are good slates and will be reused elsewhere," he said.
