It’s the Bank Holiday weekend and if you are looking to make the most of three days off we have good news for you.
With #iamteamGB events in Cumbria tomorrow including Olympic medalists at Ullswater the weather forecast from the Met Office is looking good.
So if you are taking part in any of the park runs or heading off to the other free events you don’t need to worry about rain.
The Met Office says that Saturday should see temperatures of around 22C in Cumbria with a fine start to the day with some cloud from midday, but any showers will happen overnight.
Sunday should see a dry morning, but with some showers in the afternoon with a “mixed bag” for Cumbria with some showery areas and other parts of the county enjoying another dry day.
Bank Holiday Monday will be the best day of the weekend according to the Met Office.
