A crash has closed the A69 between Carlisle and Newcastle.
Police say the road is closed in both directions following an accident involving a car and a lorry.
The crash is at Acomb, between Haydon Bridge and Hexham.
It happened just after 7am.
It's unclear at the moment if anyone is hurt.
Motorists are warned to expect delays.
Traffic is being diverted on to the Military Road.
