Police are appealing for information after five chickens were slaughtered.
The birds were in a secure enclosure on Tarn Road, Brampton, but suspects have entered the premises.
It's believed they were hit with stones and sticks sometime between 4.30pm on Friday and 8.30am on Saturday.
