Police tape used to cordon off an incident
THE burglary of the home of a Carlisle man has prompted a police investigation.
Officers are making inquiries after the home of a 61-year-old man, in Lightfoot Drive, was broken into.
The incident is believed to have occurred between 8.30am and 5.30pm on Thursday August 17.
The items taken from the property include a safe containing cash and jewellery, and three laptop computers.
Police ask anyone with any information regarding this crime to contact them by ringing 101.
