Carlisle is set to sizzle tomorrow, with temperatures expected to hit 21C.
In stark contrast to just a few weeks ago, when Cumbria battled sub zero temperatures and feet of snow, the mercury is due to keep rising.
The Met Office had originally predicted a pleasant 19C, but has since upped that forecast.
Elsewhere in the county, towns including Brampton, Keswick, Workington and Whitehaven are all expected to reach highs of 19C.
Despite the high temperatures, it is expected to remain largely cloudy however.
And there's good news for anyone in an office today, as the good weather is predicted to continue until the end of the week at least - with the chance of rain less than 20 per cent until Sunday.
While the thermometer may not reach the same lofty levels for the rest of the week, temperatures of 16C or 17C are expected on most days.
