A man and woman from Carlisle have been warned they face jail terms "of some length" for heroin and crack coaine crimes.
Lana McVay, 31, and 54-year-old Kevin Troughear appeared at the city's crown court today.
During a brief hearing, Troughear pleaded guilty to two counts of permitting premises at Carlisle's Garden Street, Edentown, to be used for the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.
He committed the offences between August 18 and 23, jointly with McVay. She, the court heard, had admitted the two charges at a previous hearing.
Judge James Adkin adjourned the case and remanded the pair in custody. Troughear, of Newlaithes Avenue, and McVay, of Garden Street, both Carlisle, are due to be sentenced at the crown court tomorrow.
"You have both pleaded guilty to serious drug-related offending," Judge Adkin told them. "In both your cases you understand that custodial sentences will be imposed - sentences of some length."
