Temporary fencing has been put up around Santander in Pow Street, Workington.
A notice advises customers to use the branches in Cockermouth and Whitehaven while the problem is resolved.
Neighbouring Your Move is also affected by the problem, with its customers advised to use a side door to access the estate agency.
