POLICE have warned parents to speak to their children after reports of 'a potential arranged fight' amongst youths in Whitehaven.
Copeland police have warned parents to strongly advise children against events such as this after the potential fight amongst youths in the area this evening, May 10.
In a statement on social media, Copeland police said: "Attention Police have been made aware of a potential arranged fight amongst youths in Whitehaven this evening. Parents will be spoken to imminently and we strongly advise parents to know where there children are and warn them not to get involved in any such behaviour.
"Police will be taking positive action against anyone we find involved and do not take such matters lightly.
"A number of youths have recently been arrested for offences involving ASB, do not let this be your child this weekend."
