A railway station cafe has been handed a new food hygiene rating.

Pumpkin Cafe, on platforms three and four at Carlisle railway station, was rated five out of five, indicating 'very good' food hygiene, after assessment on January 25, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Cumberland's 534 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 466 (87 per cent) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
