Police are investigating three burglaries that occurred on Beacon Edge, Penrith on the morning of Wednesday, April 24. 

The incidents took place between 8.30am and 10.30am, but offenders may have been in the local area after this time.

During the incident, offenders have forced their way through a patio window and stolen items of jewellery/money.

A spokesperson from Cumbria Police said: "Police are appealing for any witnesses to the crime or for anyone with any information to report to police via www.cumbria.police.uk/report-it. You can also call on 101.

"Alternatively, you can make a report anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

"Officers are asking residents in the area to check their gardens for any stolen property that may have been abandoned.

"Police would like to take this opportunity to remind homeowners to always lock their doors and windows, even if inside at the time, and to be vigilant around any suspicious activity. 

"People are encouraged to keep an eye on neighbours’ property or those that are vulnerable.
