CUMBRIA Police have been conducting foot patrols in Carlisle this week.
Officers have been out in the city speaking with businesses and members of the community.
This has been to offer advice and reassurance, and to offer any support should they need it.
A Cumbria Police spokesperson said: "PC 3386 and PSCO 5431 from Carlisle police have been on foot today in Carlisle city centre providing advice to the local businesses and reassuring presence to the community.
"Whilst on foot they have been proactively visiting areas to target anti-social behaviour within the city centre."
