POLICE continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was found on Christmas Day 2023, leaving the community of Workington in shock.
On Tuesday, December 26 Cumbria Police announced that a man had been arrested and a murder investigation launched after the body was found in a house on Clay Street.
Cumbria Police said they were contacted by the North West Ambulance Service shortly before 5.55pm on Monday, December 25.
This came after a man, in his 30s, was found deceased in his home address.
A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder.
The arrested man remains on police bail almost four months on from the incident, police said.
