UPDATE: Police have confirmed the road has been cleared (5.24pm, April 17).
THERE are reports of 'heavy traffic' and a partially blocked road due to a crash in Carlisle.
The crash is said to be impacting traffic on Edgehill Road, going both ways near the church.
The incident was first reported at 3.15pm (April, 17) on Cumbria Police's traffic website.
