AN animal rescue charity has thanked a nursery for its 'generous' donation.
Eden Animal Rescue took to social media to thank the children and staff at Penrith's Kiddlywinks Nursery And Kiddlywinks The Meadows after they donated £230 to the charity which cares for animals without a home.
They said: "We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of £230.
It's inspiring to see children and families coming together during the Kiddlyfest festival and Race for Life event to support our furry friends in need.
"Your contribution will help towards caring for the animals at our shelter, providing them with food, medical care, and a safe place to stay until they find their forever homes.
"Thank you for your kindness and compassion towards our four-legged friends.
"Your support means the world to us and the animals."
