POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an incident of group fighting outside a Carlisle McDonald's.

The altercation, involving a group of men, is reported to have occurred following a road traffic collision in the car park.

The incident is reported to have taken place outside Carlisle's London Road McDonalds at 11.45am on Thursday, April 11.

There has been widespread speculation on social media about the incident being racially aggravated.

They are urging any witnesses or anyone with information to contact them on 101, citing incident number 75 of April 11.
