PLANS for a static caravan in Moor Row have been submitted to Cumberland Council.
It is for a site in Dalzell Street which is used as a small holding by Wendy Rigg who has owned the land for more than 25 years.
The caravan would be for residential purposes in connection of the agricultural use of the land.
In her supporting statement Mrs Rigg confirmed that she is the landowner and there is already a static caravan at the site.
She said: "It has been within the same position and used as accommodation to support the farm for over 16 years."
The application is also supported by a number of residents including: Dr Gemma Kirkby; Helen Conaghan; Ian Hunter; Mr and Mrs Agnew; and Sandra Spedding.
The application is currently being considered by planning officers at the council.
