A takeaway in Carlisle has been handed a one-out-of-five food hygiene rating, indicating that 'major improvement' is necessary.
New Century Takeaway, a Chinese takeaway on Edward Street in Carlisle, was inspected on March 6.
Its hygienic food handling was deemed to need improvement, and its management of food safety was deemed to need major improvement, while the 'cleanliness and condition of facilities and building' was deemed to be good.
