Unicorns have taken over at Caledonia Park Designer Outlet in Gretna, as part of a ‘magical unicorn trail’ event.
Taking place until April 22, the trail celebrates the unicorn, Scotland’s national animal, and features a vibrant display of union sculptures, each one designed by talented students from ten local schools and colleges from both sides of the border.
At the heart of the event is Caledonia, the majestic leader of the unicorns at Caledonia Park
. As visitors follow the Unicorn Trail, they encounter ten other delightfully decorated unicorns, each with a unique name and intriguing facts about the inspiration behind their design.

Centre Director Scott Well’s said “We are delighted to have the Magical Unicorn Trail at Caledonia Park and to celebrate Scotland’s national animal in such a fun and unique way.
“The local school and college children have done a fantastic job of designing the unicorns.
“We have been really impressed with their creativity and it has been fantastic seeing families enjoy seeing Caledonia, have fun completing the unicorn trail, and take photos at our unicorn selfie bench.”
