PENRITH's former Halifax bank is up for sale.
Located in the Middlegate area of the town centre, the building offers a total of 2,173sqft across three floors.
It has been placed on the market with a guide price of £150,000.
The property is being marketed by real estate firm CBRE.
On March 19, the bank alongside Lloyds Bank on King Street shuttered their doors for the final time following a significant decline in in-person transactions over the past five years.
The town's Barclays branch is also set to close on April, 17.
A spokesperson from CBRE highlighted the residential potential of the upper floors, saying, "the upper floors have been under-utilised for storage, but have good residential potential which should provide value to investors."
The town's Lloyds Bank on King Street is also on the market.
The four-storey retail property is available to rent at £30,000 per annum excluding business rates, VAT and all other outgoings.
The property is being marketed by Walton Goodland.
