THE MASSIVELY popular football podcast, Undr The Cosh, has announced their special guest for the evening will be goalkeeper Paddy Kenny.

Presenters of the podcast, ex-professional footballers Jon Parkin and Chris Brown, along with award-winning writer Chris Brown, will be at the Box Arena for an uncut and uncensored event on April 20.

Paddy Kenny, well-known for his career as an international and premiership goalkeeper, will be sharing a multitude of anecdotes from his time in football, ranging from controversial bans to tunnel fights.

The event, organised by IM Events, promises to be an entertaining experience for football fans and followers of the podcast.

Ian Milburn, who runs IM events, said: "It's going to be a great night in Carlisle with Paddy Kenny.

"It's the first time we've ventured into a football podcast.

"Having worked with John Parkin about a year ago, they mentioned the possibility of a podcast tour. Now, it's finally happening.

"They've spoken to so many entertaining guys, their live shows are absolutely fantastic.

"They've been selling out shows all across the UK, so we're hoping to do that here," he said.

Going ahead, IM Events aims to do two or three of these events each year, with the special guests in the future all having links to Carlisle United.

Since its beginnings in 2018, Undr The Cosh has gained massive traction, currently boasting over 50,000 audio downloads and 20,000 video views weekly.
