St Bees School is offering free transport for students in Carlisle and surrounding areas alongside scholarships and bursaries worth up to 50 per cent.

The transportation initiative is meant to ensure distance does not hinder any student from benefiting from St Bees School's education offering.

Robin Silk, headmaster of St Bees School, said: "The journey to education should be as accessible and seamless as possible.

"By prioritising free transport, we are reaffirming our commitment to breaking down barriers and ensuring that all students, regardless of their geographical location, have the opportunity to access the transformative education provided at St Bees School," he said.

Financial aids, the scholarships and bursaries, ranging up to 50 per cent, are intended to boost deserving students who show remarkable academic potential or talent in areas such as music, sports, and the arts.

"We believe in nurturing the talents and aspirations of every student, regardless of their financial circumstances," said Mr Silk.

"Through our Scholarships and bursaries, we endeavour to provide opportunities for students to thrive academically and realise their full potential in a supportive and enriching environment."

St Bees School is proactively inviting potential students and their families to explore the measures in the form of scholarships, bursaries, and free transport services available.
