CUMBRIA police has welcomed and licensed three new four-legged recruits into their ranks from the 2022 litter.

In June 2022, police dog Teal, who at the time was a seven-year-old Dutch Shepherd, and had been with the force since she was just 9 weeks old, welcomed her litter of puppies. There were five males and three females within the litter.

Now, three of those puppies are working within the police force as fully licensed police dogs, completing the move from trainees.

Earlier this week, PD Quake was licensed and in November 2023, his brothers PD Blaze and PD Viper were licensed.

Cumbria Police said: "Congratulations all involved in licensing and we look forward to hearing about their careers with us!"
