IN this edition of nostalgia we are looking back at Dalston Bowling Club throughout the years.
According to data, the indoor bowls 'pay and play' area was built in 1986 and was later refurbished in 2004. The grass pitches outside were built all the way back in 1940 and the tennis courts were a later contribution to the club in 1999.
Some older pictures in the collection show President's Day in Dalston Bowling Club, one is dated 1977 and showing Tom Johnson, whilst the other from 1978 shows past presidents of the club.
Other pictures show open day at Dalston Bowling Club in 1974 and the 1973 season opening at the club.
Another season opener is shown in 1975 as the first bowls are bowled.
