CUMBRIA Police have been continuing to tackle speeding.
Residents in parts of Carlisle had raised concerns about speeding issues.
Officers visited key locations that had been identified and conducted speed checks to ensure drivers were traveling within the speed limit.
A police spokesperson said: "Due to concerns raised by residents in Carlisle about speeding vehicles in our rural areas, PC 3384 has been out today conducting speed monitoring checks around Wetheral, Monkhill and the surrounding areas.
"We will continue to target these areas and those who break the speed limit."
