DUE to substantial business growth and success, Aspatria Farmers is growing its team to meet customer demands in the dairy sector.

Aspatria Farmers is England’s oldest agricultural co-operative, established in 1870. Centrally located across three sites, Aspatria, Longtown and Penrith, they offer a range of services from feed, machinery, dairy engineering, agronomy, and animal health.

Philip Sharman, chief executive said: "Having seen such success in 2023, we are delighted to expand out team as we go into 2024, recruiting some key positions in various fields from dairy engineering to feed and agronomy."

Aspatria Farmers announced a new partnership with leading dairy providers, Boumatic, Pearson Milking Technologies and Afimilk in 2023, and have installed a range of key equipment working with these leading companies in dairy innovation.

Aspatria Farmers Longtown Dairy Centre was opened in 2015, and having built a successful team, and are now recruiting multiple positions in the North West England and South West Scotland.
