Tullie is working with Carlisle Cathedral to host a monthly meet-up to discuss the history of the city starting next week.
On the first Tuesday each month, Cathedral's Fratry Hall will host a free drop-in where you can meet, chat and share stories of old Carlisle.
The first of these social history group events will take place on Tuesday, January 9 from 2.15pm to 3.15pm.
Each month usually has a theme and those attending are encouraged to bring personal objects and possessions that have an interesting tale to tell or are of personal significance. This isn't obligatory, however, so don't worry if you have nothing to bring along.
During the Tullie closure these sessions will take place at the Fratry Hall - enter via the Cathedral Cafe and head upstairs.
