Carlisle is set to welcome chart-topping Celtic music powerhouse, Skipinnish this month, on the final stop of their Autumn tour.

Having formed 24 years ago, Skipinnish have rocketed right to the top of the Celtic music scene in recent years. Their anthemic songs, The Island, Alive, Walking on the Waves, Last of the Hunters, and more, along with their powering bagpipe-led tune sets, give their audiences an unbeatably powerful musical experience.

They have sold-out gigs across Scotland’s biggest concert halls and music venues and are now proving hugely popular throughout England.  For their Autumn tour, the show will be added to, with some new songs making their debut this year.

Founder member Angus MacPhail said: "We had such a great time with amazing audiences on our last English tour and we cannot wait to return! The support we have had from our English fans in recent years has been truly incredible and the whole band is very excited to be returning south!"

Skipinnish will appear at Carlisle's Old Fire Station on Saturday, October 28, with tickets available online for £27.50.
