The Egremont Crab Fair kicked off tonight with crowds flocking to the town centre to enjoy the attractions.
The fair ground was in full swing and many people enjoyed live music from a number of different artists on the stage at the bottom of the street.
The main attraction tonight was the wheelbarrow race where groups of twos, some in fancy dress, raced through the high street whilst pushing one another in a wheelbarrow.
Every so often they would stop to enjoy a drink and swap places.
There were a number of stalls selling food, drinks, and sweets and there was even a Ferris wheel on the main street.
The pubs were full of people and the streets began to become more crowded as the night progressed.
