A mini summer festival celebrating Carlisle's creative community is set to take place next weekend.

Tullie House has worked with young producers to host the secret garden summer festival, which is set to take place on Saturday, August 19 between 2-8 pm.

The secret garden, which is located on Abbey Street near the city centre, will feature live music performances from The Groove Shaman, a multi-genre producer with a penchant for techno, Jiggy Beast, a three-piece psych-funk band, and Dan, a DJ who plays chill house, drum and bass, and garage.

Pop-up vintage stalls, DIY body art, free mocktails and snacks can also be found at this colourful event.

The Tullie Young Producers are a group of creatives who care about making inclusive events for people to come together, be themselves, create, and have fun.

And they are keen for as many people as possible to come along next Saturday.
