Carlisle's John Joe Carrigan will box for the European junior title after reaching the final in Romania.
The Border City Amateur Boxing Club teenager defeated his Polish opponent in Friday’s semi-final.
Carrigan, 16, overcame Fabian Urbanski in impressive style as he won a unanimous decision from the judges.
He will now face Albania's Koci Amhed in Sunday’s EUBC final as he bids to cap his first competition for England with a gold medal.

It followed his previous victories over opponents from Turkey, Romania and Ukraine in the earlier rounds.
Carrigan earned his opportunity with England after winning a series of national and regional titles.
