ESKFEST, the Lake District's number one micro-festival begins today in Eskdale.

The headliners for the weekend are Holy Moly and the Crackers, Lowes, An Dannsa Dub, Dilutey Juice, State of Satta and Frankie Bettlestone.

The stages for the festival include the main stage, the stag's stage and tiki tavern who will open with Jon Dawes, alcove and Patsy Gilliam, before closing with An Dannsa Dub, the silent disco and Nat Dempsy.

The weekend will also include different workshops and fun activities including face painting, clothes swaps, yoga, tai chi, choir, henna and massage parlours and the Eskfest dog show.

The tickets through the official vendor all sold out for the 2023 festival, as people flock to the valley today.

EskFest began back in late 2015 when founder Tom Smith sent word around to some of his nearest and dearest asking if they would like to join in starting up a non-for-profit independent music festival in his home of six years.
