The organisers of Wild on the Wall have explained some of the other activities on offer this year, aside from the music.

There will be lots to do this year at the Brampton-based festival and there is definitely a big emphasis on catering to all age groups and making it something that all the family can enjoy.

The festival will take place this August and will feature performances from Hardwicke Circus, the Northern Threads, and Baghdaddies.

Poppy Rowan, who helps to organise the festival, said: "It's a family music festival but with lots of other forms of entertainment as well, it's brought to the public by the team at The Source Collective in Denton Holme.

"As well as having forty plus music acts from different genres, so for example we'll have a family fun tent which is dedicated to all things fun for families.

"For example, we have some workshops in there. We'll have a sock monkey workshop which is aimed at children.

"We have some explorers from Rainbow Wishes Foundation who are going to come in and do some entertainment for the kids and an open mic segment giving people a chance to get up and play some music themselves.

"All of that is just in the third tent, we have a whole other section of the festival which is brand new and brought to the public by The Emporium, a craft shop in Denton Holme.

"They're going to be doing lots of different things like art workshops, wellness sessions, lido printing workshops, jewellery making, and aroma therapy sessions and we also have Bloom Kids Club activities who are going to be doing things for the family such as survival skills workshops, music workshops, fossil digging and panning for gold as well.

"On top of that we have Enchanted Teacup who are coming for the third year in a row to do tarot card readings and morning meditations.

"Some of the activities are completely free whilst others do have a small extra fee where people can come along and pay on the fly."
