WE rounded up some of the great Easter activities that you can get stuck into in Cumbria.

1 Lakeland Maze Farm Park, Kendal

The outdoor attraction offers guests the chance to meet, handle, and feed the animals, which range from lambs, sheep, llamas, ferrets, alpacas and goats to horses. There is a popular Maize Maze to explore, along with a Mini Maze.

Other outdoor activities include go karting, giant draughts, trampolines, and tractor and trailer rides. Indoor activities include indoor karting, a Pets Barn with smaller animals, and an indoor soft play area with a climbing wall.

2 The Lakes Aquarium, Ulverston

The aquarium in Newby Bridge offers a chance to see and learn about the waters and ecosystems across the world, from the English Lake District to the tropical rainforests.

3 Treetop Trek in Windermere

The Treetop Trek is an award-winning aerial course, with obstacles including swinging vines, zip lines, and swinging logs, and balance bars.

Or try the Climb and Zip, a climbing wall with a 250m triple zip wire descent. Climb & Zip is only open during school holidays, so Easter is a great time to go.

4 Fusion Carlisle Trampoline Park

The 18-hole outdoor mini-golf course features everything from 15-metre tall animatronic dinosaurs, erupting volcanoes, waterfalls and even a raft to pull yourself between holes.

There are also 100 individual trampolines, a dodgeball area, climbing wall, a huge air bag, ninja warrior, slam-dunk and cardio wall challenge.

5 Carlisle International Market

Held outside the Old Town Hall, shoppers will be spoilt for choice with a huge mix of authentic continental treats, from unique arts and crafts, fine foods and delis to mouth-watering street foods.

Stalls will be open on Sunday, April 9 from 10am to 5pm.

They will open on Bank Holiday Monday from 10am to 5pm.
