UK sales of the Abarth range continued to grow in 2016. The performance brand posted its best ever year with total sales of 3966.
"Last year was an excellent one for Abarth," says Gerry Southerington, Abarth brand manager. "Our plan is to carry that momentum on."
September proved to be their most productive month with 805 cars sold, a new record for the brand. The 45 per cent overall rise in sales mean that Abarth was the third fastest-growing car brand in the UK, behind Infiniti and Jaguar.
"The current Abarth range is looking and driving better than ever, and we still have lots to come from this exciting brand. We are looking forward to 2017," said Southerington.
