A Carlisle couple personalised their wedding with themes of Dr Who, Jurassic Park and My Little Pony.
Abigail Williams and Martin Awang met at work in 2016 and had their first date in December of that year.
They got engaged on their third anniversary dinner at the same restaurant where they had had their first date.
They were married at Carlisle Register Office at Lady Gillford’s House, Petteril Bank Road, Carlisle. A reception for close family was held at Tullie House Museum in the centre of the city.
Abigail walked up the aisle to the Jurassic Park theme and the bride and groom had the Dr Who theme as their exit music.
Abigail wore a dress from Etsy and the groom continued the Dr Who theme as he wore an outfit based on the sixth Dr Who.
She had customised her own shoes with dinosaur heels and created her own bouquet with supplies from Hobbycraft featuring My Little Pony details.
Her five-year-old niece Jenny was bridesmaid and carried a matching posy.
The bride’s seven year old nephew Jamie was ring bearer and carried a dinosaur ring pillow also created by the bride. Samantha Turnbull from Winters did the bride’s hair for the occasion.
Following the ceremony a reception for 13 guests was held at Tullie House with a three course meal supplied by John Watts.
The amazing Dr Who Tardis wedding cake was created by Bakery 27.
The couple will take their honeymoon in September and will be visiting the Dr Who Immersive Theatre Experience.
Abigail and Martin’s special day was recorded in beautiful photographs by Emma Stoszkowski Photography of Carlisle.
