Carlisle United's FA Cup first round tie at St Albans City will be played on Sunday, November 6 with a 2pm kick-off.

The game at Clarence Park has been selected for BBC highlights on their Final Score show.

That is similar to the Blues' second-round trip to Welling last season, which earned the club a £12,500 broadcast fee.

St Albans, who play in the National League South, say they will announce ticket details later today.

Meanwhile United's Checkatrade Trophy tie against Fleetwood, scheduled for Tuesday, November 8, looks set to be moved.

Fleetwood's FA Cup trip to Southport has been selected for live TV coverage on Monday, November 7.

The League One club last night said their trip to Brunton Park is likely to be put back 24 hours to Wednesday, November 9, though this has yet to be confirmed.

Carlisle's Under-18 side, meanwhile, have been handed an away trip to face FC United of Manchester in the first round of this season's FA Youth Cup.

It will be the first meeting of any kind between the Blues and the fan-owned Manchester club which formed in 2005.

The tie must be played by Saturday, November 5.
