No plans to review Abbott's position says Carlisle Utd chairman

Carlisle United say there are no plans to review manager Greg Abbott's position next month.

Have your say

I think its time to get behind Abbott and push him out the door.

Abbot was coach under John Ward.......so have we progressed since then I think not.
The board should focus on the what's going at Brunton Park not in Kingstown.

We are in a RELEGATION FIGHT. What's wrong with 532 system it might just stop the stupid soft goals conceaded and a message to the board if you think the attendances are bad now if there is no improvement in results and performances you'll be watching on your own

Sorry but its time to go... its one bad result after the next..get someone in now, let them get some loan deals if there is no money.

Starting today CUFC & all involved have a massive 2 weeks ahead, the pivotal point of our season! If we can bring home 4 points from the two away games hopefully, that will be welcomed by a reasonably increased home crowd for the xmas period games, putting a bit of cash the clubs way to help plug the gaping holes that seem to appear every game of late.
As many have said, the manager/team need to turn it around and get the fans back on side with a good string of results!
Our next four games are the perfect opportunity! Lets hope Santa comes early for CUFC!
We need a bit of luck on the pitch, a clean sheet would be a great confidence booster as everyone knows but a few goals to the good would be sufficient to bring down the GD before losing Garner. Good luck United!

Demolish brunton park, Build a decent sports complex down there,, Something for everyone then.

I feel sorry for Greg to be honest. For what money he gets to replace the team he does very well. If you ask me someone with real ambition for the club needs to step in and buy it and invest some money.

I have been a fan of this football club for 9 years now some of the Managers I have liked and disliked Greg Abbott is one I have liked but you would say that his time is up I think he needs to get results out of the next 4 Games at Shrewsbury and Scunthorpe and then at home to Hartlepool and Bury.
I really hope this club survives at the end of the Season and hope we get Joe Garner in the January transfer window and it's a shame that Alessio Bugno hasn't had more pitch time, Come on the blues.

GA talks a good GAME but the players cant match it. its time for a change before we are fighting a relegation battle.
