Home draw for Carlisle Utd in first round of Capital One Cup
Last updated at 09:34, Thursday, 14 June 2012
Carlisle United's 2012/13 campaign will start on a Tuesday night at Brunton Park – against Accrington Stanley.
United will host the League Two outfit on Tuesday, August 14, in the first round of the Capital One Cup – the newly-sponsored league cup.
The tie will be Carlisle's first game of the new season as the league fixtures do not get under way until Saturday, August 18.
It will be the second season in a row that United have faced Stanley – who include ex-Blues midfielder Luke Joyce – after the Lancashire club knocked them out of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy last term.
