Carlisle United have been handed a trip to Salford City in the first round of the FA Youth Cup.
The Blues under-18s' bid for success in youth football's most prestigious competition will begin with a trip to Moor Lane.
It will see academy manager Eric Kinder's team face an Ammies 'Academy 92' side coached by Jamie Russell.
United will be expected to field some of their top young players in the competition, with teenage pros Taylor Charters and Jarrad Branthwaite among those eligible.
Others who have been in the first team and reserve squads this season and in pre-season, such as Charlie Birch, Isaac Robinson, Charlie Barnes, Jamie Armstrong and Lewis Bell, should also be involved.
The tie must be played by November 2.
Carlisle went out in the first round last season after a 2-1 defeat at Fleetwood.
Returning youth boss Kinder, who replaced Darren Edmondson this summer, will be hoping to emulate some memorable runs in his previous stint at the helm.
They included a victory over Manchester United in 2008 as the young Blues reached the quarter-finals.
