Two former Carlisle United men have been released by their Premier League clubs.

Josh Galloway and Jonathan Dinzeyi are now both searching for new teams after being released by Leeds United and Arsenal respectively.

Galloway, 20, joined Leeds in 2019 after impressing for the Blues' youth team - and joined fellow former Cumbrian Liam McCarron at Elland Road.

The midfielder spent time on loan at FC United of Manchester in the Northern Premier League in the second half of the 2021/22 season, having previously been on trial with Barrow.

Dinzeyi, meanwhile, joined Carlisle on deadline day of the last summer transfer window.

The Arsenal youngster joined the Cumbrians on a season-long loan deal, with then-manager Chris Beech having high hopes for the former England under-18 international.

But the 22-year-old made just three appearances for the club - with only one coming in the league.

His loan was prematurely ended in January and Dinzeyi returned to his parent club - who have now opted to release him.
