Peter Murphy's Annan Athletic go for play-off glory tonight - on live television.

The Galabank club head to Edinburgh City for the first leg of their Scottish League One play-off final.

Both legs - including Friday's encounter at Galabank - are being shown live by BBC Alba.

Coverage from Ainslie Park tonight on the channel starts at 7.25pm with kick-off at 7.30pm.

It will see Murphy's side in the spotlight as they bid to claim promotion in the former Carlisle United star's fifth season in charge.

Annan head to the capital having battled past Forfar Athletic in the semi-final.

Tony Wallace's late penalty earned a 2-1 aggregate win following a 1-1 draw at Station Park on Saturday.

That followed a 1-0 first-leg win thanks to Michael Garrity's goal.

Edinburgh City, under interim boss Alan Maybury, got past Dumbarton to seal their place in the final.

Bookmakers make Edinburgh 15/11 favourites for victory tonight with Annan 2/1 to claim a first-leg lead in their bid to reach Scotland's third tier.

Cumbrians such as Owen Moxon, Steve Swinglehurst, Charlie Barnes, Roan Steele, Matty Douglas and Rob McCartney could figure in the Annan squad.
