It's the Blues against the Grecians this weekend - a fixture which has thrown up a number of memorable encounters over the years.
Here's a selection from the YouTube vaults.
1. 1990
A day United seemed destined for promotion - a rainy, top-of-the table clash in front of a big crowd, decided by this Tony Shepherd goal. Alas, it went downhill from there for Clive Middlemass's Cumbrians, and it was Exeter who went up as Division Four champions.
2. 1994
To the memorable title-winning season of 1994/5 - and this piece of matchwinning acrobatics from Rod Thomas...
3. 1997
Another promotion campaign - this one the 1996/7 season, capped with this 2-0 last-day win over Exeter, Gareth McAlindon heading the clincher and a lovely pitch invasion coming next...
4. 1999
A defeat, this one - but still a goal to savour from a young Scott Dobie at the Waterworks End...
5. 2015
Exeter saw fit to put 36-year-old defender Jamie McAllister up against United's loan winger Alex Gilliead on this particular visit - and it's fair to say the younger man had the better day, thanks to this neat finish after an assist from deadly Derek Asamoah...
6. 2016
Four goals, a United red card...and then this late, late winner from Charlie Wyke...
7. 2017
A play-off epic at Brunton Park, United fighting back to draw 3-3 thanks to John O'Sullivan's cross, and this Shaun Miller header which raised the roof. We just won't mention the second leg...
8. 2019
After conceding, United pushed, chased and probed...but in the end it took Jamie Devitt's dead-ball skills to earn them a point.
