Carlisle United have set a new date for their home clash with Rochdale.

The fixture had been schedule to be played on Boxing Day - but was postponed because of Covid cases in the Blues squad.

The clubs have now rearranged the Brunton Park clash for Tuesday, March 1 with a 7.45pm kick-off.

It follows consultation between the clubs and the EFL.

It is the final game of a string of League Two postponements to be rearranged by the Cumbrians.

They have also found new dates in the calendar for home games against Bradford City and Hartlepool United, and a trip to Salford City.

The Blues beat Bradford 2-0 on Saturday in a game rearranged from a Covid cancellation on December 18.

They host Hartlepool next Tuesday, having had to shelve the January 8 game because of Pools' FA Cup involvement.

The Salford trip, meanwhile, has been moved to February 1, having been called off on December 29 due to Covid.

United say tickets for the original Rochdale game are valid for the rearranged date.

Anyone who requires a refund should contact the ticket office.
