Carlisle United fans were in positive spirits after the Blues' excellent 2-0 victory over Bradford City on Saturday.

Here's a selection of the views that supporters gave to the News & Star on Twitter.

Fantastic performance. Both goals were superb. Millen has made a relegation team look like a promotion side. Defensively solid. A forward line that will scare sides. But it's Millen's organisation of this side....a great appointment. (@BruceVander)

Patrick’s was the kind of goal we’ve been missing all season. Good performances all round. Feeney looks like he could be a real player if he can stay fit. Apart from a few early wobbles defence looked very solid again up against some decent League Two forwards. Positive signs all round. (@DRNoble25)

Great performance full of effort and energy. Omotoye impressed, particularly in the second half. Solid defensively and well organised all over the pitch. Really enjoyable and a well deserved win. (@ticketaddict)

Where to start...the game had everything, everything Blues fans have missed these past months. To a man they worked their socks off...two brilliant goals, two brilliant debuts and Bradford  couldn't live with us. Fans loved it! Going up going up going up... (@LindaNi121202)

Brilliant display by Blues, especially second half. Bradford couldn't live with us and just kept fouling - that last one on Mellor should have been red. Two brilliant goals, and Tyrese from Norwich was more like Usain Bolt (brill). 19th and going upwards. C'mon you Blues. (@ericgreen866)

After the first ten minutes, we got into the game. Looking solid at the back. Feeney growing into an excellent CB. Omotoye did more today than any CF has done all season. Jordan Gibson just a class act. (@MartinScarboro4)

Fantastic performance, Millen has changed us from a team that looked as though we were pulled together 10 mins before kick-off to an organised team with an identity and passion flowing through the team. Seeing the smiles as I left the East Stand just great, long may it continue. (@matty017)

Trying to remember two more effective debuts, but it was more than that, a brilliant team performance. (@stewelsh)

Outstanding! Every single one of them. What a job Millen is doing! (@ScottBeeby1)

Much better. At last - an Omari Patrick. I’ve been asking for one of those since Port Vale on August 17th! (@NotInSeddon)

Excellent. Solid defending, creativity in midfield and attack. We actually looked like a team again. (@RonnieSmith1964)

To a man, all were fantastic. Defensively solid, bite and guile in midfield, sharp up top. More please! (@mark_rothery)

Best game we've seen in a long time. All players put in a class shift and looked like they wanted to be there. Massive credit to KM and we should start giving DH a break too, he's facilitated the new signings. The future looks bright blue. (@MandyDav801)

If only we'd had this team four months ago. Did everything you could ask for. Soaked up early Bradford possession, took control of the game, scored two goals worthy of winning any match - and the sort of debut and second debut performances that will get fans back to Brunton Park. (@1StevieKilner)

Comfortably our best performance of season. Lots of good options on the bench as well. Benefits of getting some good players in early this month. Well done KM. (@tallstew)

We played very well. We are more solid and look dangerous. Millen's work has been excellent. Dream return for Marzi! (@LEEROTHERHAM)

Honestly think Patrick is our most composed forward since Hawley. Just so cool in front of goal. (@cufcmike)

A win built on great performances from the full-backs especially. Bradford’s high line was exploited by our forwards and good through balls. Bradford’s midfield was quiet and narrow which gave Gibson and Dickenson space to exploit. What a win! (@f_analytics)

Certainly not a performance of a team scrapping at the bottom. KM has us organised and harder to beat. Let’s just tie down some players and do our best and go for it next season. (@CameronEllis_)

Best performance and best game of the season with two great goals. Euphoria amongst the fans after the final whistle. (@GIM901)

No complaints whatsoever, proper energetic committed performance and two great goals, as said by others best performance for over a year, Mellor had his best game since coming, Mellish is still running now and Gibson is early player of the year contender. (@NavyDave94)

It was alright... (@MikeReid13)

‘Twas alright I suppose...(@CarlislesDamage)

If I had this season's shirt, and I was 10 years old I'd be getting Omotoye printed on the back Monday morning. (@martyn_haworth)

Totally different side from months ago. Some the players I have been critical of, Mellish and Dickenson, both had good games. Consistency is now imperative. Big shout out to Mellor MOTM for me. (@spendercufc)

Where do you start…commitment, passion, desire, we had it all today… (@CUFC_Lee)

Happier than Omari scoring on his re-debut with this result. Hats off to KM who has been working wonders. Onwards and upwards. (@bukseda)

Best home performance since 2020. Weathered an early storm but never really looked troubled. Feeney excellent, Omotoye impressive. Mellish an example to follow. Gibson’s goal was excellent and followed by Patrick scoring a proper CF’s goal. Thought Angol was good for them too. (@parkinsonross)

Looked a good solid team today, the two debutants made a massive difference, Mellish, Feeney and Mellor were outstanding. (@marcusn04537547)

Pace makes all the difference. Compare early season long balls to Alessandra and Abrahams vs the penetration of Gibson, Patrick and Omotoye. No comparison and up we go. (@GlacialGlory)

What a game!!! Everyone did their jobs today, I would be hard pressed to find one man of the match. Fantastic debut for Tyrese Omotoye and icing on the cake from Omari Patrick. Plus the rocket of a goal from Jordan Gibson. I'm giddy with happiness. (@tracey_sturgess)

When did we sign Cafu at right back? (@dixon221087)

What a difference when you have real strikers on the pitch. (@frostie_)

8/10s everywhere. Up The Blues. (@dubhead77)
